Test yourself and your coworkers on this adventure challenge teambuilding program. In this deluxe program, teams rotate through adventure challenge stations designed to stretch teams to reach their maximum potential. Challenges are designed to help pull your team together by building trust, communication and problem solving skills. Only a low to moderate fitness level is required. The program is designed so that team members that decided to opt out of an adventure station will still be very much involved in helping their team reach its goals.
Participants are fastened into the Zipline by one of our top notch instructors. The objective for the participant is to overcome their fear through the encouragement of their teammates. Each participant will be presented with several goals; the final goal is suspended 200ft across the Gorge and 80ft above the river. Once each participant has completed their tasks, they are pulled back by their teammates.
With the encouragement of their team, each team member attempts to step out of their comfort zone and rappel down a 60ft cliff. Various goals will be presented; the final goal is to rescue an item from a cave on the cliff face. The rescue will require the rappeller to swing on the rope and climb into the cave. Each teammate will set out to complete their personal best.
WEB AND ROPE BRIDGES
Teams must work together to help each team member through a web and cross ten rope bridges which are suspended three feet off the ground. Participants need to help one another through the web and spot each other while traversing the rope bridges.
HELICOPTER CABLE LADDER
The team is presented with the challenge of climbing the cable ladder. Various goals will be set on the ladder; the ultimate goal is to reach the top. To ensure safety, an instructor will be belaying each participant on a rope as they climb. At any time, participants can sit back on the belay rope and be lowered to the ground. Participants need to rely on their teammates to keep the ladder stabilized on the ground as they climb.
Accompanied by our staff, the team must follow written instructions and compass bearings to locate ten checkpoints. These checkpoints are hidden in the wilderness along the river, cliffs and caves in the Elora Gorge. Teammates will share the task of using the compass while leading their team through some of Ontario's most amazing scenery. Several of these checkpoints will present the team with a challenge that they will need to overcome before continuing on their search.
