From $575.00 per cabin per day

Visit the remote wilderness of the Yukon in comfort from these newly built luxury lakefront cabins. If you are searching for an unforgettable independent wilderness vacation in the true backcountry of the Yukon Territory, then you have found the right place. Your hosts provide luxury cabins and all of the equipment and gear necessary to accommodate you on a comfortable wilderness holiday on a remote lake in the southwest Yukon.

Whether you prefer fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, boating, photography, or all of the above, these deluxe cabins will serve as a base to support all of these activities and more. These cabins are a true wilderness adventure, accessible only by floatplane. You will fly through some amazing scenic country on your way to the cabins.

There are many activities available for your enjoyment. All lakes have fantastic fishing with Lake trout, Arctic grayling, Northern pike and Burbot available. We promote catch and release fishing with barbless hooks. You may keep legally caught fish that you plan on eating as a meal but the rest must be released.

There are countless opportunities for day hikes in the mountains surrounding the lakes. The lakes are situated between 3000’ and 4000’ above sea level (1000m and 1400m) so access to the high alpine country is quite easily achieved. The scenery in the high country is spectacular and there are also great opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

There is abundant wildlife throughout the area. Depending on the day, you can expect to see Dall sheep, Mountain caribou, Alaska/Yukon moose, Black bear, Grizzly bear, lots of smaller game species and many bird species.  There are also options to fly to other lakes for other hiking, fishing or numerous other opportunities or take a Kluane Glacier flight-seeing tour if you wish.

Semi-independent packages. In these packages, you basically rent the cabin at a daily rate, bring your own groceries and cook your own food. As part of the package, we will provide guiding for two days of your stay – your preferred guided activities can be discussed in advance of your arrival.

Fully-guided, all-inclusive packages. Your hosts will pick you up at your Whitehorse hotel and you are looked after for the entire trip right until you are dropped back at your hotel at the end of your trip. This packages includes transfers to and from the cabins via vehicle and ATV, all food, and all guided activities such as fishing and hiking. Preferred activities can be worked out with you in advance of your trip. You will have the independence of having your own cabin but all meals and guiding will be provided by your hosts.

Southern Yukon
Detailed Region Info
Nowhere else in Canada inspires thoughts of adventure and wilderness like the Yukon Territory. Made famous by the Klondike gold rush in the late 1800’s the Yukon has become synonymous with adventure.

The southern region of the Yukon is a vast land of mountains, valleys, lakes and rivers making it the perfect location for your next adventure. Canoeing is a popular activity and ingrained in the history of the territory. Numerous rivers such as the Yukon, Teslin, Wind and Big Salmon are considered some of the best paddling rivers in the world. Fishing opportunities are second to none, with many remote fly-in lakes throughout the southern Yukon. The northern lights or aurora borealis can also be seen during the fall and winter months shimmering and dancing across the sky.

The highest mountains in Canada and some of the most awe-inspiring glaciers are found in the Yukon. This region is home to Kluane National Park , the site of the largest non-polar icefields in the world and the greatest diversity of wildlife north of 60 degrees latitude. Though remote the Yukon has an impressive road system that allows you to access much of the area by vehicle. Van tours are popular and a great way to explore this vast land.

The Yukon has a strong dogsledding heritage and the area is known for the famous Yukon Quest dogsled race. Visitors can come and arrange their own mushing adventure and experience this purest form of winter travel for themselves.

Whitehorse is the capital of the Yukon and has all amenities of a big city, and is home to Yukon's major airport with domestic and international air service. A vacation in Canada’s Yukon is always a larger than life experience.
