Explore the alpine trails in the Purcell Mountains of BC on one of these snowmobiling tours.  Your snowmobile trip will take you into the heart of BC in the Purcell Mountains. Your snowmobiling trip begins at the famous Panorama Ski Resort in the Columbia Valley.  You will explore spectacular high basins, using the newest technology in snowmobiles. Your guides will take you through some of the best winter scenery in Canada that will please even the avid snowmobiler.

This area of BC is know for its high snowfall, moderate temperatures and excellent skiing and sledding conditions.

The half day tour is the most popular tour by far has a little bit of everything. Breathtaking scenery with plenty of picture stops, an abandoned silver mine, the opportunity to see wildlife and free "play time" in a deep powder bowl are just a few of the things you can expect on this trip up to 8000ft!  Bring your appetite for a nourishing snack in the alpine cabin while you warm up and quiz your guide on the finer points of sledding.

If it is a full day of fun you want , than this is the trip to take. Visit the remnants of an early 1900's Silver Mining Town located at the top of the mountain at 8000ft.  With plenty of wildlife, breathtaking views, and a spectacular icefall all on the way up the trail you will relish in the open powder bowl for hours of playing after being fueled by a hearty lunch in our cozy alpine cabin. This is the premier tour of the west.

Powder X (High Performance) is a trip designed for intermediate to advanced sledders who want to handle their machines in the deep mountain powder. Space is limited to small groups to make sure you get the one on one instruction you deserve. It combines pristine mountain wilderness, great food, experienced guides, deep powder and awesome high performance snow machines to make the Powder X trip an unforgettable sledding experience. Book any where from 1-7 day’s, there are 8 sledding areas to choose from. Learn to boon dock, side hill or climb a mountain.

TRANSPORTATION

Trips originate and end in Panorama Village, near Invermere, British Columbia. Daily shuttle from Banff is available for no extra cost.

The Kootenay region of British Columbia is a mix of mountains, lakes, rivers and alpine meadows making it the perfect adventure destination. For a province noted for its scenery, the Kootenays are considered by many to be one of the most scenic areas of BC. This region includes the Selkirk and Purcell Mountain ranges offering alpine hiking at some of the most remote backcountry lodges in the world and rivalling the scenery of their Rocky Mountain neighbours.

The Kootenays and Revelstoke also offer some of the best powder skiing in Canada and there is both snowcat and heli-skiing to choose from. The Monashee Mountains near Revelstoke are legendary for snowfall, and heli skiers and boarders know about the quality and quantity of this areas snow. Revelstoke is also world renowned for mountain snowmobiling and sledders come from all over the world to experience the annual snowfalls of 40 - 60 feet. This region is truly an adventure enthusiast's dream.

Balance of payment is due 30 days before trip commencement.

CANCELLATION POLICY & DETAILS

Full payment required at time of booking. 48 hrs notice for cancellation/ late cancellations subject to 100% cancellation fee. Groups of 10 or more must give 14 days notice or are subject to full payment for no shows.
