World class steelhead and trout fishing from a lodge in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia

Experience some of BC's best steelhead and trout fishing at this deluxe lodge on the Fraser River, only a 1hour drive from Vancouver.  This inclusive luxury fishing lodge lies tucked away on a quiet parcel of land outside the rural farming community of Agassiz, BC.

British Columbia Steelhead fishing in the Fraser Valley offers good angling opportunities for winter and summer run Steelhead. The Vedder and Chehalis River's both contain good stocks of winter Steelhead while only the Chehalis River has summer runs. The Vedder River is a main steelhead river in the Fraser Valley where 6,000 to 10,000 fish can be expected to return each year. Many Steelhead are caught each year in the 15-20 lbs. range, with an estimated average weight being 10-12 lbs and some in the 20 plus pound range.

These fish have been known to perform spectacular jumps and runs in a quest to be free. This and their sheer beauty is why anglers from around the world converge on British Columbia each winter. The lodge begins guiding for Winter Steelhead in mid January and continue through until April. Peak season for these trophy fish is February to April.

Summer run Steelhead begin to arrive in our rivers in June with peak fishing July 1 to August 31. Often you can combine summer run Steelhead fishing with Salmon fishing, all summer run Steelhead fishing is done from whitewater rafts down a pristine canyon river.

Trout fishing in British Columbia, is one of our best kept secrets. This lodge offers a superb selection of fishing opportunities for 3 species of trout year round due to their central location. Your guides take you into beautiful lakes and rivers, surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks. The most successful fishing methods for trout fishing, are spin, bottom and fly fishing. You will have possibilities to fish for cutthroat or rainbow trout the entire year. The ocean-going cutthroat trout migrates from October to April from the ocean to the river systems. The month of June is a highlight though, because of large sea run bull trout migrating into our wilderness rivers.  The lodge is proud to offer the most experienced guides in the valley for this world class fishing.
