Bella Coola Valley British Columbia: Enjoy the Canadian summer in the spectacular Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Bella Coola Valley
Summers in British Columbia are generally warm, with temperatures varying from 68°F
(20°C) to 104°F (40°C). Closer to the coast, the climate is usually milder. The average temperature in Bella Coola Valley, in July, varies from 74°F (23.1°C) during the day to 52°F (11.3°C) at night.
Northwest Territories
Summers in Northwest Territories are dry and relatively cold. Temperatures here can vary from 70 (21°C) to 55°F (13°C) with the midnight sun treating you to endless daylight.
In the winter, days are very short and temperatures can drop from -4°F (-20.1°C) to -18.4°F (-28.2°C) which usually allows for clear skies and a great chance to witness the Northern Lights.
Blachford Lake Lodge
Blachford Lake Lodge is perfectly equipped to ensure your comfort. There is a main building with a restaurant, a fully stocked bar, and a chill out area lit by a cozy fireplace for socializing. On top of that, there are 9 guest chalets, all with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and an ability to accommodate up to 4 people. In addition to this, there’s a building for exercising and yoga with massage rooms, showers, and a hot tub.
Northwest Territories
While very similar to the lodge on Blachford Lake, it’s slightly smaller, yet just as exciting. In the main building, there’s a dining area, bar, fully equipped rooms, each with free Wi-Fi and able to accommodate up to 4 people. If you need a little bit more privacy, you can choose to stay in one of our ensuite wooden chalets.
Our wilderness lodges are fully equipped, containing everything you might need, however, you will obviously need to bring any personal belongings that you need for your holiday. Those include clothing, any medicine you might need, toiletries, and other personal items.
If you want to see the Northern Lights from your wilderness lodge, it’s best if you choose one of our lodges in the Northwest Territories and plan your holiday during the winter months. For the best visibility of the Northern Lights, the sky above should be absolutely dark and clear. Our lodges are located out in the wild, where lights from the city don’t pollute the night sky and your chances of spotting auroras increase.
