White water rafting expedition on three rivers in central British Columbia

Three rivers, Chilko, Chilcotin and Fraser make up this world class whitewater expedition rafting trip. You will experience exhilarating rapids in some of the most spectacular scenery in British Columbia.  This 500 mile journey winds its way from Chilko Lake down the Chilko River through the Lava Canyon, on to the Chilcotin river for big rapids and finishes on the vast Fraser river near the town of Lillooett.  Included in each adventure is a chartered plane trip from Vancouver to Chilko Lake and rerturn back to Vancouver through some amazing coastal mountain scenery.  An all-encompassing outdoor expedition, this trip has it all... from pure relaxation to adrenaline pumping thrills.

This six day, three river adventure combines North America's most exhilarating Class III-IV river rafting with the breath taking scenery of British Columbia. This is a photographer's paradise.  Both the scenery and abundance of wildlife will inspire you.  As the landscape changes from day to day, so does the wildlife that inhabit the area. Countless bald eagles can be seen in the upper stretches of the Chilko River as well as mule deer, moose and black bears.  The lower Chilcotin River and Fraser River have been designated a reserve for California bighorn sheep.  Herds of fifty or more can be seen perched on the desert cliffs high above the river.  This river system is also a major spawning ground for sockeye and chinook salmon.  Fishermen should bring their gear, because the Chilko River boasts some of the finest trout fishing anywhere.

The flight from Vancouver to Chilko Lake takes approximately one hour. From Chilko Lake to the take out at Gang Ranch Bridge on the Fraser River, you cover 120 miles by raft. From the take out at Churn Creek, you travel by mini-bus to the town of Cache Creek. Here you fly by charter plane down the Thompson & Fraser Rivers back to Vancouver.
