Helicopter sightseeing tours on the Icefield Parkway of the Alberta Rocky Mountains

View the Canadian Rocky Mountains from the air on one of these spectacular sightseeing helicopter tours. Various locations and durations are available ranging from 20 minutes to 55 minutes. During this time you will have a bird’s eye view of mountains, glaciers, alpine lakes and valleys. All helicopter tours are guaranteed to provide breathtaking views and a scenic journey you will never forget.

For some extra excitement you have the option of adding a wilderness stop to any sightseeing tour.  Your pilot will land the helicopter in the wilderness & take you on a wilderness walk. Take a leisurely stroll with your pilot along a glacier fed stream up to a 40 foot waterfall.

The 20 minute Cline Glacier tour is a good introduction to helicopter tours. Launch from the heliport at an elevation of 4386 ft. (1400 m) and you will soar over Cline Pass at 9000ft (2900 m) and fly by the Cline, Lion & Lioness glaciers. View a spectacular 900 ft. waterfall flowing from two aqua green lakes.

The 25 minute Wilson Icefield tour will have you cruising at 100 mph (~160kph). You will view the beauty of the Wilson Icefield and its many crevasses. Soar over a 10,000 ft. pass (3200 m) and this tour also includes the Cline, Lion & lioness glaciers and the 900 ft waterfall flowing from two aqua green lakes.

The 55 minute Columbia Icefield tour is the ultimate trip. Soar over the massive field of ancient ice that covers 125sq. m (325 sq. km), with solid ice up to 1200 ft. (365 m) making it the largest body of ice in the Rocky Mountains. View spectacular glaciers, aqua green lakes and waterfalls. You will soar to an impressive altitude of 12,500 ft. (4000 m) on this trip.
