Saltwater fishing for halibut and salmon from a lodge on the west coast of Vancouver Island

Fish some of the most productive saltwater locations in British Columbia from this oceanfront lodge on Vancouver Island. These fishing charters go where BC salmon fishing action is the hottest; the incredibly rich waters around historic Nootka Island, Nootka Sound, Tahsis and Esperanza Inlets. You will enjoy light tackle salmon fishing for trophy Chinook salmon (Kings) and Coho salmon (Silvers) and Halibut fishing; playing tug of war with giant Halibut, Lingcod, Red Snapper and various species of rockfish.  For a special treat your guides will pull prawn traps on the way to the fishing lodge at the end of a great day on the water.

All of these BC west coast fishing charters are well suited for everyone whether a novice or an experienced angler. For anglers that are a little uneasy about fishing big open water, your guides have plenty of productive, calm, inshore water where you fish, right along the kelp beds.  For the fly-fishermen - you may want to ask about the saltwater fly fishing charters from boat or shore for Pacific Salmon.  June and September are prime times for trophy Chinook and all five salmon species are available July and August. September and October is best for trophy Coho and halibut, red snapper, ling cod and rockfish are productive throughout the season.

The lodge is situated on the banks of the Zeballos River where the Zeballos River meets Zeballos Inlet and offers guests first class accommodation with all of the comforts and amenities of home. With spectacular views of the river to sea and the surrounding mountains, the lodge is the perfect place to relax and experience the spectacular West coast scenery after a great day of fishing. The lodge is also located only minutes by walking from boat and floatplane docks, local stores, pub, local museum and three different nature walks ranging in length from 20 minutes in length to several hours.
