This lodge is located in the heart of some great ATV trail riding country. The upland boreal forest north of Edson Alberta contains a network of trails and cutlines, with the main leg of the Edson - Silver Summit Trail close by and easily accessible from the lodge. The Silver Summit trail eventually connects to the Golden Triangle Trail system to the north, however overall the Golden Triangle Trail is best used in winter for snowmobiling. On-site there is a 16 km trail system that can be used for ATVing, and the adjacent Crown land contains other trails and random riding opportunities. ATV riders will find no shortage of areas to explore right from the lodge. Bring your ATV and explore the trails.

In the winter this lodge is the perfect staging area for snowmobiling in the area north of Edson, Alberta. Only 35 km north of Edson, the lodge is located a few km from the main leg of the Edson - Silver Summit snowmobile trail, which connects to the famous Golden Triangle Snowmobile Trail system to the north. You can ride in and out right from the lodge. This is great trail riding territory and has endless exploring potential on the network of cutlines in this vast area of boreal forest. Avid snowmobilers will not be disappointed by this region so bring your own sleds and hit the trails.

The lodge is surrounded by boreal forest, where over 70 varieties of birds make their homes in summer. All year long, moose, deer and elk are found close at hand. Bears are often seen spring, summer and fall, and occasionally wolves may be heard howling though they are rarely seen. The north fork of the Edson River flows through the property where Rainbow Trout and Arctic Grayling may be caught when in season, we encourage catch and release. There are several large beaver dams only minutes from the lodge where these large water mammals may be viewed in the mornings and at dusk.

Your group will have private use of the entire three bedroom log building.  Sit and relax in a truly remote setting and enjoy the scenery and local wildlife.
