Walk and wade trout fishing charter on the Bow River near Banff, Alberta

Fish for brown trout on the world class upper Bow River near Banff National Park, Alberta.  Your experienced guide will take you through spectacular areas where you will 'walk and wade' to pursue primarily brown trout with the occasional catches of bull and cutthroat trout.  New fishing spots around every bend in the Bow River, with challenging riffles and deep pools.

Just below Banff townsite, the Bow River winds it's way through the mountains of Banff National Park and out through the front ranges of the Rocky Mountains to the prairies boasting 40km (25 miles) of catch & release waters. This section of The Bow River is a freestone mountain river. The wild and wary Trout in the river make for exceptional sport.

This service is available year round and, in addition to the spring, summer and fall, we'll frequently fish the Bow during the winter months, when our famous "Chinooks" occur. Winter is a great time to hook the Big ones!

Enjoying excellent fishing on a wild river set in the spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies will make this a truly memorable fishing adventure.
