Just beyond the lifts and crowds of Whistler/Blackcomb awaits the ultimate high-alpine powder heli-skiing thrill.  This heli-skiing trip will introduce you to the hundreds of runs accessible only by helicopter. Imagine powder skiing through untracked powder, endless terrain and breathtaking scenery.  The goal of this trip is to provide you with a truly memorable skiing experience and your mountain guides will be happy to lead you on a wilderness adventure of a lifetime.

With over 1,000 ski runs and 125 mountain peaks to choose from, your guides can accommodate all levels of skiers, from intermediate to expert.  The runs vary from up to 5,000 vertical feet of wide open glaciers to beautiful gladed tree runs for the snowy days.  Your guides will select terrain most suitable to your group's ability level, ensuring a safe and memorable trip. The heli-ski area is made up of several zones and is approximately 50 miles north/south by 30 miles east/west (80km by 50km).

GUIDE INFORMATION

Qualified mountain ski guides will accompany you on the trip.  They will provide full instructions for conduct around the helicopters and on the heli mountain. Your guides are all trained in snow sciences and will evaluate the terrain selection for the day.

RESTRICTIONS

Participants should be intermediate skiers in good physical condition.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Requirements: Powder skis and equipment. Rentals available.

3 runs are approx. 4,500 – 7,500 vertical feet, or 1,400 - 2,300 vertical meters of skiing.

4 runs are approx. 6,000 - 10,000 vertical feet, or 1,800 - 3,500 vertical meters of skiing.

6 runs are approx. 9,000 – 15,000 vertical feet. or 2,700 – 4,600 vertical meters of skiing.

TRANSPORTATION

Trips originate and end at Whistler Village, approximately a 2 hour drive north of Vancouver on highway #99.

Mountain weather conditions are extremely variable. Temperatures average between 0 and -30 degrees Celsius.

SUGGESTED CLOTHING

Ski attire should be made of water resistant, windproof and breathable material. Bring along fleece underclothes, goggles, gloves, toque, ski boots.

Balance of payment is due 2 days before trip commencement.
CANCELLATION POLICY & DETAILS
Cancellations received after 10 am the day prior to skiing will be strictly subject to a cancellation fee of $200/person. *We recommend guests carry travel insurance to cover costs in the event of sickness or injury prior to departure. *If we cancel our day due to weather considerations, a full refund will be issued. If we cancel during the ski day, you will be refunded based on the amount of runs skied.
