Guests are allowed to keep three fish per person.

Requirements: Fishing license (can be purchased at the lodge).

TRANSPORTATION

The lodge is located on the north shore of Lake Athabasca. Packages iinclude return air transportation from Fort McMurray, Alberta. Flight time from Ft. McMurray is 1.5 hours.

Weather in the north can change quickly so prepare for a variety of conditions, from sunny and hot to rainy and cool.

PROVIDED EQUIPMENT

19' sport fishing boats (all with covers), fishing tackle and gear (bring your own fly fishing gear), housekeeping service, use of the lodge facilities including pool table, dart board, poker table, horseshoe pit and fire pit.  The lodge also has satellite phone service, Internet service and satellite TV. Freezers on site to store vacuum packed fish for taking home.

SUGGESTED CLOTHING

Rain gear, waterproof boots, warm clothing such as fleece or wool, hat, gloves.

SUGGESTED ITEMS

Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars, water bottle, daypack, cooler for taking fish home, fly fishing gear, personal fishing tackle and gear if desired.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Sleeping accommodations are in private cabins with wood heat, electricity and bunk beds. The main lodge has a dining facility and games room. The lodge has  Internet access, hot and cold running water, electricity, shower house and well kept outhouses. Washer and dryer on site.

Delicious home cooked meals are included and prepared on site. The lodge is fully licensed and a shore lunch over an open fire on a remote island is a highlight of the trip. Complimentary Happy Hour provided by the lodge.
