An Awesome and “Epic” Experience!
My best friend and I went to Iceland for my birthday trip and decided it would be cool to tour the Golden Circle and go snowmobiling on a glacier. I had never driven a snowmobile before or seen a glacier and it was amazing. My experience was definitely “epic” and I won’t ever forget it.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is of great historical and national value. It was here in 930 c.e. that Vikings founded the world’s oldest parliament - the Althing. You can explore the area at will, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are drifting apart at a rate of about 2 cm each year!

Marvel at the wild waterfall from the top of the cliffs or walk along the path to get a look from up close. Gullfoss is fed by the Hvita River, whose waters originate from Langjokull Glacier and then travel miles across the country before it eventually cascades down 32 meters across the two-tiered cliff.
