Hit the slopes of Langjokull’s wild, icy playground for a full snowmobile adventure. Afterward, we’ll soak our muscles in the replenishing hot springs at the Secret Lagoon. Come see what the Land of Fire and Ice is all about!

Your snowmobile adventure begins at the Gullfoss Café, located next to the famous Gullfoss Waterfall, where our friendly team will pick you up.

Once everyone is in our super jeep, we’ll drive to our base camp at the foot of the Langjokull Glacier, Iceland’s second largest ice cap. You may find it difficult to turn your eyes away from the sheer size of the mighty glacier, but spare us a moment. Our glacier guide will give you a safety briefing and show you how to operate your snowmobile. Then, take a deep breath and get ready to speed across the top of the majestic glacier!

Nestled in the Highlands, Langjökull is one of the most popular glaciers among snowmobile aficionados. It stretches a giant 935 km2 (361 mi²) and invites travelers for a hair-raising ride throughout the year. Langjokull stands in striking contrast to the surrounding volcanoes, making it a living example of Iceland’s extreme natural beauty. It’s also the source of many of the attractions on the Golden Circle route, making your snowmobile ride even more intriguing.

Our guides will ensure that your trip is as safe and exceptional as it’s possible to be!

After a one-hour snowmobile adventure, we’ll head to the Secret Lagoon, located in the small village of Flúðir in South Iceland. The Secret Lagoon is a calm, man-made, geothermal pool that is always about 38°C (100°F).  The pool was built at the end of the 19th century and locals call it gamla laugin, which means “old pool.”

Once there, prepare to go on a sensual journey in perfectly heated water surrounded by geothermal landscapes, which are punctuated by steaming crevasses. After a rejuvenating dip, you can go for a stroll on the boardwalk around the pool. Don't be surprised if you encounter a little geyser that erupts every 5 minutes. The whole geothermal area is filled with wispy plumes of steam rising from the pool and neighboring vents.

For some time, this natural pool with its soothing ambiance was a hidden gem, but today that’s no longer the case. As the Secret Lagoon is located just off the Golden Circle Route, travelers from around the world flock to the site to soak up Iceland's famous hot spring culture. To bathe in Iceland’s oldest geothermal pool is an experience that you won’t want to miss!

We’ll meet you at the Gullfoss Café, located near the Gullfoss Waterfall. Please give yourself plenty of time to drive from Reykjavik, as you won’t want to miss a second of this exciting adventure.
