The walk is from Mt Ulriken to Mt Fløyen. Starting from Mt Ulriken makes for an easier walk, and you get great views of Bergen and the Byfjord. Mt Ulriken is the highest mountain in Bergen at 643 meters, and our destination is Mt Fløyen, which is 300 meters. The guide takes you safely over the mountains and brings a comprehensive first-aid kit, GPS, and map in case the weather will changes.
On the way, you will learn about Bergen and Norway, and, not least, about Norwegian outdoor pursuits. On this trip, you will see all the 7 mountains around Bergen, and walk between the two most famous peaks.
Time: Approx. 6-7 hours with breaks. We are returning to Bergen city center between 3-4:30 pm.
Level: Medium / hard, suitable for experienced hikers.
Terrain: Rocky and can be muddy and wet.
Elevation: 643 metres – 300 metres.
Kilometers: 14 km (if you take the cable car up/funicular down) / 17 km.
