Information

tjornuvik village view in faroe islands in winter

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel. We begin the highlight tour of the Faroe Islands by paying a visit to the city of Torshavn and its quaint cobblestone streets. You’ll then get the opportunity to marvel at the unmatched beauty of the famous Kirkjubøur village. It is the southernmost village on Streymoy. We will also take you to the most historic site in the country. The village features the ruins of the historic Magnus Cathedral, which dates back to 1300. You’ll also get to be mesmerized by the historic beauty of Saint Olav’s Church. It is built before 1200 and is the oldest church on the Faroe Islands.

We allow you to indulge in unique historical experiences by paying a visit to Kirkjubøargarður and its wooden farmhouse. The farmhouse dates back to the 11th century. The farmhouse has been occupied by the same family for as many as 17 generations.

Then, we will take you on a drive to the charming village of Saksun. It features beautiful mountain cliffs, stunning natural attractions, and cascading waterfalls all around. Then, we will take you on a guided tour of the famous Tjørnuvík – the northernmost village of Streymoy. The place is quite popular among surfers.
