The private tour of Mykines Island commences in the morning with a ferry ride from Sørvágur. As you take the ferry, our guide will point out a number of famous places you’ll pass by as you sail to Mykines.
When you arrive at Mykines, we will take you on a guided tour of the entire village while you enjoy some refreshments on the way.
Once you are refreshed, we will begin the walking tour to Mykineshólmur. The islet is connected to the main island with the help of a beautiful wooden suspension bridge that is situated 35 meters above the deep gorge below. Once you cross the footbridge, you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of the famous Mykines Lighthouse.
To allow you to experience the natural wonders of Mykines Island, we will be taking you directly to the lovely puffin colony. You can get up close and personal with the birds, while taking amazing pictures. When you are on the island, you can also enjoy stunning views of the majestic ocean to the west.
