Information

You can book a snow igloo night online 24 hours before the start time (until 20:00 the night before). If you’d like to book later than 24 hours before the start time, please do not hesitate to call us Antti: +358 40 754 0683, Anu +358 50 355 0744.

If you have a different arrival time than 20:00, please write further information to us at the online booking process. If you do not know your arrival time yet, no problem. We will get in touch nearer to your arrival date.

The check-in time starts from 20:00 unless you have booked extra services:

A return transfer from Pyhä Ski Resort and Luosto Ski Resort.

Dinner at Lucky Ranch saloon: Home-cooked Lappish dinner sourced locally.

Aurora Adventure: A guided Northern Lights tour to the frozen Lake Pyhäjärvi with a local guide and hearing stories about the Northern Lights while enjoying the warmth of an open fire inside a wooden hut. During the tour, you will also meet the ranch’s animals.

Lucky Ranch is located near Pyhä-Luosto National Park at Lake Pyhäjärvi, only a 10-minute drive from the year-round activity resort and ski resort in Pyhätunturi. You can reach us by car, or when booking a tour with us, you can book a pick-up (return transfer) either from Pyhätunturi or Luosto.

The nearest airport is in Rovaniemi, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours' drive to Pyhätunturi. The nearest railway station is in Kemijärvi where there is a bus connection to Pyhätunturi. Please always check the public timetable in advance. We are also glad to help you with planning your trip to us!

Free wifi is available at Lucky Ranch, and the Northern Lights alarm system is available in the Pyhä area. Lucky Ranch provides a variety of winter activities. Please contact us in advance for further information.

Instructions

If you arrive via your own transportation check-in time starts from 20:00. You will recognize the igloo base camp by the red Lucky Ranch sign on the righthand side of the road. The basecamp is the building located closest to the lake. The door is ope...)

Checkout time is 11:00 at the latest.

There is a warm area (base camp) just a short distance away. Anyone with cold feet (or any other reason) can opt to sleep in one of the beds inside. There is not a toilet or a shower inside the igloo. A bathroom and shower are available in the basecamp.

There are no grocery stores or restaurants at Lucky Ranch Snow Igloos (unless you have booked dinner in advance). Lucky Ranch Snow Igloos is situated 10 km (a 10-minute drive) from Pyhä Ski Resort, where there is a grocery store and several restaurants. In case you want to take something to eat with you, please do your shopping in Pyhä Village. There is a small kitchen available for guests inside the basecamp (with a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine).
