You’ll start your day strong by kayaking on Trakai Lake. The town itself is peaceful and the sights do not disappoint. The surrounding nature guarantees tranquillity and Trakai Castle, which sits in the middle of the lake, takes you back many centuries. In medieval times, it was home to Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and today it is a museum. You will paddle through three interconnected lakes – about 11 km (6.8 mi) or 2.5 hours – before you stop for lunch on one of the islets.
Our tour guide will then pick you up and you take off on a long drive all the way to Rusne Island – the only island in Lithuania located in a river delta. You’ll spend your night at a cozy local homestead and get to know your fellow adventurers better over a homemade dinner.

This day is all about road tripping! As you drive through the villages of the Curonian lagoon, you’ll make stops at several noteworthy locations. The first one is Aukstumala raised bog, a stunning peatland rich in biodiversity. Up next is Vente Cape, the westernmost part of Lithuania known for its active bird migration. You’ll hand over your luggage to the driver and pick up your bikes early in the morning. A short bike ride and you’ll find yourself enjoying a short yet picturesque ferry ride.
On the other side of the lagoon is where the challenge begins. Today we will cycle approximately 65 km (40 mi) on a bike path through forests, sand dunes and tiny resort towns with Nida as our final destination. Juodkrante, Preila and Pervaka – three resort towns that used to be fishing villages – will be our main stops along the way. Your belongings will be waiting for you in a comfortable Nida B&B, where you’ll get some well-deserved rest.

Today we explore Nida, a town righteously known to be a true gem. It’s a day of tranquil sights, unexpected discoveries and quiet reflection. A local guide will meet you in the center of the town and you will proceed through its streets lined with colorful wooden houses.
Soon after you will find yourself surrounded by serene drifting sand dunes, a one-of-a-kind landscape. It’s not just the unmatched nature but also the tragic historical circumstances that distinguish this place. Many people who were imprisoned in a French military camp located there from 1870 to 1872 died due to exhaustion and harsh conditions.
On the other side of the dunes a lovely pine forest and Nida lighthouse await. For a small additional fee, you can enter the lighthouse and see the white sand beach of Nida from up high!
For the first part of the day, take your time to explore Nida. Enjoy a relaxing morning at the beach, have lunch at one of the local restaurants or simply walk around the town – whatever you fancy! In the afternoon, a comfortable coach will pick you ...)
