On the clearest of nights, you will be mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the star-studded sky. You’ll also get the opportunity to search for the magical Northern Lights dancing across the sky. Return to our farm to enjoy a hearty, warm, and delicious dinner of local delicacies served with utmost hospitality. If you wish to experience the beauty of the Northern Lights and the entire Arctic landscape, going on a horseback tour is a completely memorable way to do it. Experience ultimate relaxation as you explore the remote wilderness while enjoying the true essence of nature at its best. As night turns up, you can trust that your four-legged friends will lead the way. The silence around you will only get broken with their gentle sounds. The night is capped off with a hearty and warm dinner served in a local Sámi hut.
After picking you up in Kiruna, we will take you to our farm toward the west. Together, we will help you prepare for your horse riding excursion. During the winter season, we prefer shorter rides with a more gentle pace across the forest to ensure the ultimate safety of our guests. As we head out, you’ll get the opportunity to wander across the forest that has been here for hundreds of years. A spectacular mountain range surrounds the forest, amplifying the beauty of the landscape.
Upon reaching the wilderness, you get a chance to observe the breathtaking views of the Northern Lights as they meander around the clear sky and its dazzling stars. If you are fortunate enough, you might even encounter a few majestic moose in the forest. These regal creatures are often referred to as the King of the Forest.
Upon returning to the farm, you’ll get the chance to relax. You’ll be served a warm, hearty dinner in a local Sámi hut to experience the true joys of the local culture. You will savor some of the most delicious local specialties including local fish and wildlife. As you sit around the fire and dine, you will have the chance to understand Sámi culture more deeply and hear about the local culture, nature, and animals.
After you finish your dinner, we will bring you back to the farm. We offer transfers to and from Kiruna. We also offer access to the certified tour by the Swedish Ecotourism Society.
