Adventures.com is a global travel company that specializes in authentic journeys to the world’s most memorable places. Established in 1983 as a humble river rafting company in Iceland, we grew to become one of the leading guides and operators in the Northern Hemisphere.

WHO WE ARE

We are Adventures.com, a global travel company that specializes in authentic journeys to the world’s most memorable places.

It all started with The Great Canadian Adventure Company in 1994. The company was conceived by partners Blair Lobreau and Jim Storey who saw that people needed a travel site with a wide selection of experiences and a high level of customer service for clients. This initiative grew to become Adventures.com, one of the leading tour resellers in the Northern Hemisphere.

We live and breathe brand-new adventures. From glimpsing polar bears in Churchill to chasing the Northern Lights around Reykjavik, the nature offers us experiences beyond our wildest dreams. Being able to share them with you is the driving force behind what we do.

We offer everything from brief weekend getaways to intensive multi-day trips. From lava caves to glacier hikes, from winter expeditions to summer treks, there are literally hundreds of tours to suit the style and preference of any adventurer. Arctic Adventures

Founded in 1983, Arctic Adventures now offers over 300 adventure tours around Iceland — from glacier hiking to snowmobiling, trekking, and even scuba diving. The company specializes in small group tours with a high focus on sustainability

Extreme Iceland

Back in 2017, Extreme Iceland became a member of the Arctic Family and brought a great collection of day and multi-day tours for you. The company, born out of a passion for adventure, is your best sightseeing and activity tour expert in Iceland.

Trek Iceland

Launched in 2009, Trek Iceland specializes in hiking and trekking tours in Iceland. The company’s focal point is the world-famous Laugavegur Trail. Since 2014, Trek Iceland is a member of the Arctic Family.

Arctic Sea Tours

A member of the Arctic Family since 2015, Arctic Sea Tours offers small group whale watching trips in North Iceland with excellent success rates. The company is committed to responsible whale watching and has a strong passion for educating visitors about Iceland’s precious ecosystems.
