The Greenland Dog is a powerful, heavy-built dog. It has a broad, wedge-shaped head, slightly tilted eyes, and small, triangular ears covered with thick fur that prevents frostbite. It has strong, muscular, short-haired legs.
Renowned for their stamina and endurance, Greenland Dogs are able to traverse very difficult terrain with ease and with a high tempo. The dogs are not the type that is content lying around the house - they need to work or have some kind of vigorous activity. They have an independent and somewhat stubborn character.
Note:
Dog sledding is a weather dependent activity, we operate on snow (when there is snow) or on dry-land if there is a lack of snow.
