Riding the friendly Icelandic horses is something you have to experience at least once in your life. Ride through lava fields on excellent riding paths and along beautiful green hillsides. Look for different rock formations in the lava while experiencing the special gait, tolt.

An adventurous ride from the Stable through lava fields and along beautiful green hillsides. Look for different rock formations in the lava whilst experiencing the unique gait of the Icelandic horse, tölt. This tour is ideal for beginners as well as for more experienced riders.

We welcome individuals, families and all kinds of groups who want to enjoy themselves outdoors. The facilities offer people an easy way to enjoy our horses and the experience of our staff will ensure the safety of all participants.

Daily Departures: Daily departures at 10:00 and 14:00 (on location). Transfers from hotels and guesthouses in Reykjavik to the Stable start at 09:00 and 13:00. Transfers back to hotels and guesthouses start at 12:15 and 16:15. See booking engine for pickup prices.

Meet on location: Please show up at least 30 minutes before departure. Meet us at: Sorlaskeid 26, 220 Hafnarfjordur

Pickup: The pickup begins an hour before departure. Please note that pickup can take up to 30 minutes. Pickup begins at 09:00 or 13:00 for the morning and afternoon departures.

Note: You will not be able to bring any bags or backpacks with you on the ride itself, but there are safety boxes located at the stables where you can store your items.
