The tour starts at Nauthólsvík, Reykjavík’s golden-sand beach. It’s a scenic spot to check your bike, enjoy the sea air, and ease into the ride. From there, the group heads into Fossvogsdalur—a quiet green valley with soft trails, tall trees, and trickling streams. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and just enjoy the ride.
Next up is Elliðaárdalur, a hidden stretch of nature where rivers, lava rocks, and forest paths come together. Even though you’re still in the city, it feels like a peaceful escape. There’s time to stop, snap a photo, and take in the views.
The loop finishes back at the beach in Nauthólsvík. You can kick back by the water, dip your toes in (if you’re brave), or just relax and chat with the group. It’s a gentle ride made for fresh air, easy pace, and simple moments in nature.
