Itinerary

We will traverse this ice-covered volcano in one of our specially designed super jeeps, ensuring that you can see the very epitome of the land of fire and ice. We also visit several other natural wonders, including the cascading Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, alongside jet-black volcanic beaches and much, much more. It truly is a spectacular adventure that will remain with you for the rest of your life.

Our day begins when we collect you in one of our specially designed jeeps and head towards the famous Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, whose cone-like stream crashes down more than 60 meters into a volcanic gorge below. Your guide will show you the craggy cave that is hidden behind the curtain of water, allowing you to see this area of exquisite natural beauty from a totally different angle.

From there we will head to a secret moss-covered canyon, where a frothy white cascade tumbles over the lava-crusted cliff face. It should be noted that this gorgeous hidden waterfall, known as Gljúfrabúi, is almost impossible to visit without getting wet, meaning that we recommend that you bring waterproof clothing. We may also stop at the narrow mountain ravine called Nauthúsagil, where an equally beautiful cascade rolls down a cliff.

Then we will head down to the famous volcanic beaches of South Iceland, whose jet-black sands provide the ideal contrast to the blue waves that lap against them. We will pause there for another spectacular view where glaciers and volcanoes stand side by side and the white-tipped waves of the sea crash in the background.
