Iceland Eclipse 2026 Tour with a Super Jeep Ride

Perfectly positioned in the path of totality, Iceland offers one of the best vantage points for this rare event. The moon will slowly move in front of the Sun, creating a partial eclipse. Then, totality will occur for about 2 minutes, with the sky getting dark and the Sun’s glowing corona visible around the Moon. This awe-inspiring event can only be described as magical!

We'll pick up passengers from the most convenient location in the capital area. After our enthusiastic group is on, we'll hit the road in our modified jeep, going to remote areas to avoid large crowds and get the best backdrops.

Our expert guides will track the weather and cloud cover to find the best spot for the 2026 total solar eclipse in Western Iceland, known for its many prime viewing locations. While a perfect view isn’t guaranteed, the incredible scenery will more than make up for it. Expect a bumpy ride, but that’s all part of the fun in a Super Jeep—designed to take you up close to Iceland’s geological wonders along rugged roads. Once we arrive, get ready to settle in, set up your camera, and enjoy the moment with your fellow travelers as the anticipation builds.

Totality will happen when the Moon fully covers the Sun, turning the sky into an eerie twilight. The brief moment of darkness is unforgettable—cameras will be snapping, and excitement will fill the air as we all witness this extraordinary sight. It's your chance to take some photos for your memory book!

After the eclipse, we’ll take a moment to soak it all in, enjoy some drinks, and share stories with fellow eclipse watchers. Then, we’ll pack up and make our way back to Reykjavík. The journey home will be filled with reflections on an incredible experience, wrapping up a day to remember as we return to the city by late evening.

Food: Please remember that food is not included, and there won’t be any stops along the route to beat the traffic. Therefore, pack enough snacks and meals to keep you fueled throughout the day.
