If you wish to settle your account with a credit card, you will be required to present the card at check-in where a pre-authorization for the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit will be processed. If you prefer to settle your account with cash, you will be required to pay the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit to cover all incidentals at the time of check-in.
Please note that a valid photo ID will be required at check-in and a copy retained on file.
Adventure Hotels also reserves the right to request a credit card from all guests during the check-in process, irrespective of whether the booking has been prepaid. Such credit card details shall be utilized exclusively as a form of security to indemnify against expenses incurred for additional services, including but not limited to food, beverages, or damages to hotel accommodations, subsequent to assessment by the housekeeping personnel.
Should a guest be unable to provide a credit card, a cash deposit amounting to 40,000 ISK (or equivalent in USD or EUR) shall be obligatory. This deposit will be subject to reimbursement upon the guest's departure, contingent upon confirmation by the housekeeping team of an absence of damages or the need for supplementary cleaning services.
In the event of any supplementary charges, the guest will receive prior notification and may use an alternative payment method.
Cancellation must reach the hotel in writing 48 hours before check-in time (4 pm) of the arrival date. For cancellation received within 48 hours, one night will be charged per each room booked. When two or more nights are booked, the first night will be fully charged, and a charge of 50% will apply to the rest of the stay. The hotel will charge fully for no shows, late arrival and early departure of confirmed bookings.
Hotel check-in starts at 16:00. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Check-out time is 11:00. Late check-out can be arranged and is subject to availability. Changes may subject to additional fees.
Adventure Hotel Hof & Adventure Hotel Geirland:
Breakfast is available from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Please contact our Front desk for further information.
We do have a restaurant on site which is open from 18:00 until 21:00 every day. Due to operational reasons, our restaurant might not be open on your check-in date. Please contact our front desk for further information.
Please note: Due to the limited seats in our restaurant, a table reservation is required. If you would like to make a dinner reservation in advance, please contact us via email or phone.
Adventure Hotel Hellissandur:
Breakfast is available from 7:30 AM till 9:30 AM. We provide takeaway breakfast/lunch packs for guests on request and subject to additional charges. Please contact our Front desk for further information at your check-in.
Please note: Restaurant do not offer dinner onsite currently.
Parking is available free of charge on the Hotel premises.
Personal items such as money, jewels and other valuables are brought to the hotel premises at the guest's sole risk. The hotel and/or the management accept no liability and shall not be responsible for any loss or damage and guests remain solely responsible for the safekeeping of any such items.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge the responsibility that the hotel will receive payment for the hotel room along with the items charged to my account.
Any damages to the hotel property caused during your stay may be subject to charges.
In accordance to Icelandic Law, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the hotel premises – this includes the smoking of e-cigarettes. Permitted smoking areas are identified on site and smoking on the hotel premises outside the designated
smoking areas may result in a fine of 40.000ISK. Please considerate of other guests if you do smoke.
Cooking is not permitted in any of the rooms and may result in a fine of 40.000ISK.
Loss of keys will result in a replacement fee of 10.000ISK per key.
