Information

These late winter and early spring tours in northern Canada are packed with active adventures. During the day, you can go ice fishing, snowmobiling, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or skating. Ice fishing is very popular, and you have the chance to catch some big lakers and burbot.

Burbot is one of the best-eating fish in Canada, and they are even better in these clean, cold northern lakes. You won’t have to go far from the lodge and your private cabin to go ice fishing here. Holes are drilled through the ice right in front of the lodge in the bays of Duncan and Graham Lakes. Snowmobiles and guides are available for ice fishing and adventures farther out from the lodge too. These winter experiences and optional activities will be customized upon arrival to take advantage of the current weather and conditions.

Once the sun sets, the incredible Northern Lights here will amaze you if the weather is good. There are comfortable aurora viewing platforms, a heated gazebo, firepit, plus the lodge always has warm drinks and snacks ready. Or just sit back from the deck and watch the northern lights from your private cabin. All cabins have electricity, wood stoves for heat, and indoor bathrooms with hot and cold water. This is a Great Canadian signature experience adventure vacation. Welcome!
