This deluxe accommodation on Coghlan Lake offers you all the conveniences of modern life, in a remote, and completely private setting. Three fishing boats and a 20' pontoon boat are yours to use during the week in pursuit of lake trout, northern pike and arctic grayling.
Coghlan Lake is known for its clear waters where your lure may be visible up to 40' feet below the surface. There are good opportunities to view wildlife such as caribou, moose, bears, eagles and loons. The unspoiled wilderness of the Yukon will captivate your imagination and leave you wanting to stay a second week.
Coghlan Lake is located 60 air miles north of Whitehorse in Canada's Yukon. Coghlan Lake is 7 miles long and three-quarters of a mile wide and has the clearest water in the Yukon. Your fishing lure may be visible as much as 40 feet below the surface. There are many shoals and islands throughout the lake. This lake produces Lake Trout and Northern Pike up to 30 pounds, Arctic Grayling up to 4 pounds, Burbot up to 15 pounds and Lake Whitefish to 12 pounds.

Guide Information
This is a self-guided fishing trip. This lodge comes with a caretaker-handyman who lives in a separate cabin nearby to ensure you of a trouble free fly fishing vacation. His main duty is to do everything he can to make your Canada fishing trip as enjoyable as possible WITHOUT interfering with your party's freedom to enjoy the wilderness at your own pace. He will look after the electrical, propane, water, and toilet systems; operate the tractor, keep the boats clean and gassed, etc. He will also act as a temporary fishing guide if needed to orient newcomers to the lake and fishing methods.
Restrictions
Group size of 2-14 persons. They have a weight limit of 300 pounds per person including groceries and gear. Extra flights due to excess weight will be charged at $500.00 per flight per 600 pounds.
Weather
Summer temperatures range between 10-25 degrees Celsius. This part of Yukon enjoys a semi-arid climate, and 'all day rains' are quite rare.

This fishing lodge is a three-bedroom house lying deep in the Yukon wilderness. The lodge is most comfortable with six people or three couples as there are three bedrooms with two beds each. It is also possible, however, to sleep three couples plus up to six children. The downstairs floor is a classic log cabin with a rustic living room area plus dining and kitchen areas. The framed upper floor has three bedrooms and an indoor bathroom. A wood sauna is also available at the lodge.
This lodge has 1 single & 1 double bed per room, full-size range & refrigerator, complete cooking & eating utensils, electric lights upstairs and downstairs, hot and cold running water in the bathroom and kitchen, shower.
A newly built cabin on site adds a total of 14 beds at this camp.
This camp has a full solar system with AC electric and plug-ins in every room.
Pricing does not include: 5.00% GST.
A 25% deposit is required to hold your reservation.
Balance of payment is due 30 days before trip commencement.
