After a meet-and-greet in Resolute, we’ll travel towards our starting point on Ellesmere Island. Ellesmere is the third largest island in Canada and translates from Inuktitut to “the Land of Muskox.” Multiple fjords alongside the towering mountains of the island have lent to its reputation as the most charming island in the Arctic Archipelago.

For the next days, the group explores the dramatic landscapes of Alexandra Fiord and Buchanan Bay by sea kayak and on foot. Paddling routes include narrow inlets, island chains, and open stretches of Arctic water, with daily opportunities to spot wildlife such as seals, walruses, and polar bears.
Each day is flexible and weather-dependent, with options for day paddles, shoreline hikes, and short inland treks to nearby lookouts. The group may relocate camp several times during the expedition to access new areas. While paddling is the main focus, time is also set aside for photography, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the silence of the high Arctic wilderness.
Camping is expedition-style, with tents set up in scenic and remote locations. Guides handle safety, navigation, and daily planning, adjusting the route based on ice, wind, and wildlife conditions.
