Fish for Master Angler Walleye and Northern Pike from Remote Fly-In Outpost Cabins

Overview

Unwind, rejuvenate and fish for master angler walleye and northern pike at your own pace and on your time. These lakes don’t have a lot of fishing pressure, and catch and release have been strongly encouraged for the larger trophy fish for many years. You can always do a replica mount for your trophy fish, just take a few photos and measurements, then release the big fish. You can take pride that you are continuing the legacy of these great Canadian fishing waters.

This type of wilderness fishing outpost adventure is perfect for a group of experienced fishermen who don’t mind doing their own cooking, who want to escape the routine with like-minded friends, and, most importantly, who want to go fishing all day, every day, and catch lots of fish.

Scattered throughout the vast Canadian Shield in Northeastern Manitoba, you will find an endless maze of lakes, offering DIY anglers a true wilderness fishing experience in Canada. You will fish for walleye and northern pike, with the chance to catch some giant fish.

These upgraded and renovated outposts provide anglers with comfortable accommodations, with all the necessities of a home, modern boats, motors, and equipment. These remote fishing cabins, and the charter air company that services them, have been a family-operated business from the beginning. You are in good hands.

This Manitoba outfitter offers a complete air charter service. They provide safe and reliable air transportation throughout eastern Manitoba, utilizing floatplanes such as De Havilland Turbine Otter, Cessna Amphibious Caravan, DHC-2 Beaver, and Cessna 185 aircraft.

Flying out of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, about an hour’s drive northeast of Winnipeg, they have a well-established float plane base, servicing an impressive number of remote Manitoba fishing outpost camps on many lakes in the Canadian wilderness. These outpost fishing camps are located throughout the boreal forest on the northeastern side of Manitoba, within three of Manitoba’s beautiful Provincial Parks: Atikaki, Nopiming, and Whiteshell. Their cabins are well away from civilization and are only accessible by air. This has kept these quality fisheries pristine, productive and sustainable. The main sport fish species here are walleye (in excess of 29”) and northern pike (in excess of 44”). Catch and release are encouraged for all large fish, with smaller fish to be enjoyed for shore lunches and for fry-ups back at the lakefront cabin.
