This Canadian outfitter offers a complete aircraft charter service, providing safe and reliable air transportation to their many outpost fishing camps throughout northeastern Manitoba utilizing float-equipped aircraft such as De Havilland Turbine Otters, Cessna Amphibious Caravan, DHC-2 Beaver, Cessna 185 aircraft.
Flying out of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, about an hour’s drive from Winnipeg, they have a well-established float plane base servicing an impressive number of fishing outpost camps, as well as a full-service remote fly-in lodge. These facilities are located throughout the northeastern side of Manitoba, within three of Manitoba’s beautiful Provincial Parks: Atikaki, Nopiming, and Whiteshell. These locations are well away from civilization and are only accessible by air, or in a few cases, by water/canoe. This has kept the fisheries pristine, productive and sustainable. The main sport fish species here are walleye (up to 29”) and northern pike (in excess of 44”).

Artery Lake
Artery Lake is a 45-minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet, located 80 miles Northeast. At the headwater of the Bloodvein River, Artery Lake is also considered a border water which means this lake lies both in Manitoba and Ontario. Artery Lake offers some of the finest trophy Walleye and Pike fishing in Northeastern Manitoba. Many trophy fish are caught and released each year. With over 8 miles of water to explore, Artery Lake has depths ranging from 10-35 feet. This area is very scenic, including three sets of waterfalls.
We are the only outpost cabin on the lake. This large 3-bedroom, 10-person cabin is located on the Southwest corner of the lake at the headwaters of the Bloodvein River. Walk 5 minutes down a trail behind the cabin and reveal a set of falls where you can cast offshore and catch your lunch. Inside, you will find hot and cold running water, a private shower, a flush toilet, a bathroom sink, a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, two large refrigerator-freezer units, a chest freezer and a gas stove. Outside, a propane barbecue and fish cooker are supplied. This cabin is equipped with solar lights and a wood stove for heat. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck overlooking the lake.
Artery Lake is equipped with five fourteen-foot Lund boats with 9.9 HP four-stroke Yamaha motors. We supply lifejackets, swivel seats, landing nets, paddles, anchors and gas.
Guests staying at Artery Lake will drive to our floatplane base in Lac du Bonnet or fly to Winnipeg, where we can assist in arranging round-trip transportation to and from our Float base. Your flight to Artery Lake is 80 miles which will take approximately 45 minutes by float plane.

Upper Lake is a 45-minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet, located 89 miles Northeast. This camp is in the Atikaki Provincial Park, on the Sasaginnigak River system. This is an excellent location for fishermen who do not want to fight high winds and rough water. This lake extends over eight miles, with its widest point approximately three-quarters of a mile wide. Spend your days fishing for Walleye and Pike. As one of our best Walleye lakes, you can expect to catch many. Northern Pike in this lake is usually found in shallow bays.

CANCELLATION POLICY & DETAILS
Any cancellation of more than 60 days receives a full credit extended to 1 year (less a 10% administrative fee). Cancellations within 60 days, deposits are non-refundable. Travel insurance is recommended.
