Your trusty horse and expert guides will take you through breath-taking scenery as you ride from camp to camp through the Rockies. Teams and wagons are used to carry the camp gear and duffle so you and your horse are free to enjoy the journey.

Highlights

  • Kananaskis Country
  • Canadian Rocky Mountains
  • Little Elbow
  • The Lost Trail
  • Alberta Rockies
  • Turner Valley

The "Great Divide Ride" is a 7 day moving trip, using two teams of draft horses and covered wagons to transport the food, camp and duffle to the three different camps you stay in during the trip. While the wagons roll through the lower elevations, the horseback riders hit the high mountain trails that take you high above timberline, past tumbling mountain streams and through stands of virgin timber. By the time you get to the next camp, the mess tent is set up and a welcome cup of hot coffee is ready for you.

The North Rim to Ranch Ride was developed to offer some new country to explore. This 7-day horseback riding vacation starts at the North Rim of our mountain area on the Little Elbow and works it's way south through three major river drainages and five different mountain ranges, ambling into the ranch on the last day. You roll into three different camps during the 7 days and it incorporates two of the most breathtaking high mountain rides in Alberta. Riders are absolutely awe-struck with the scenery. Don't miss it!

The Lost Trail ride takes you deep in the heart of the Alberta Rockies, where you explore trails that don't see much more than elk and big horn sheep. This is not a ride for beginners. Join us for a fun-filled six day horseback vacation, with an explore- as-you-go attitude. You will use a team and wagon to haul camp in, then truck the horses and riders to different areas during the trip to expediate the jump from one mountain area to another. You will ride the highest and wildest areas your guides can find.
