Highlights

  • Banff National Park
  • Canadian Rocky Mountains
  • Backcountry camping
  • Alpine hiking

These amazing backpacking tours venture deep into the wilderness of Banff National Park. Day hikes are great, but only backpacking allows you to reach the true Canadian Rockies backcountry. You will see the mountains like you wouldn't see in any other way. Camping in the backcountry means there's nowhere to be but where you are, and you don't need to worry about crowds and dinner time.

During this guided hiking trip, you will trek far into the wilderness and spend several days properly off the beaten path. These small group tours are led by professional guides who are there to make sure you are safe, well-fed, and on the right track to having the time of your life. Backcountry trips can be hard to plan, but your guides take care of all the planning and details, so you only have to strap on your boots, load your pack and go.

Sleep under impossibly starry skies at remote campsites, watch the sunset over the mountain peaks, swim in alpine lakes, and nap in breezy meadows on your backpacking trip. Carrying everything on your back means you have everything you need. Something about an escape like this deep into the Canadian wilderness makes time stand still. All the camping gear, transportation from Banff, park permits, reservations, and planning are included to ensure you are well taken care of and can have the time of your life!
