From building a shelter out of natural materials to purifying water and starting a hand drill fire – we’ll teach you everything you need to know about how to survive in the outdoors.
This training course provides much more than just basic bushcraft skills. It takes you out of your comfort zone and gives you the confidence to survive and thrive in the wild.

With around 90% of its territories uninhabited, Canada is one of the best places in the world to master bushcraft. This 4-day outdoor and bushcraft training program will give you the skills and aptitude to make you confident in the wildest nature.
Based in the stunning wilderness of British Columbia, our experienced instructors will teach you some of the most important survival skills. You’ll learn to purify water, gather wild edibles, recognize medicinal plants and much more. In the unique environment of the South Chilcotin Mountains, you’ll be able to put your new knowledge to the test straight away. Building a bug out bag will become second nature to you!

Later, we’ll head out to the bushcraft campsite, based in a tranquil and secluded area in the wilderness of British Columbia.
At the campsite, we’ll show you some tips and tricks to pick out the best location for your tarp shelter. You’ll have a chance to build one together with your new teammates.
Today you’ll learn some of the basic wilderness survival techniques, like building a fire, identifying edible plants, and purifying water.

The second half of the day will be devoted to one of the most important bushcraft survival skills – finding food. We’ll discuss the selection and preparation of edible plants. Later, you’ll gather wild edibles yourself and prepare dinner.
Before returning to the team shelters for the night, you’ll learn to make some fire lighting tools such as a bow drill and start a fire from scratch.

The afternoon will be devoted to learning about medicinals in nature. You’ll combine your knowledge of theory with practice and gather some medicinal plants with your instructor.
Learn to use bushcraft tools safely, and even make them yourself! You’ll build your own hunting equipment, including axes and knives as well as eating, cooking, and wood-cutting tools.
In the evening, you’ll have an opportunity to put your newly acquired fire lighting skills into action by preparing a delicious dinner made of wild edibles.
As this is your last day in the wild, we’ll make sure we leave everything just as we found it. We’ll break down the team shelters and tidy up the campsite. Before we leave the campsite, you’ll purify some water and brew some refreshing dandelion coff...)
