Through an exclusive arrangement with Lake Louise Ski Resort, we are now able to share this pristine area with our clients via vehicle transport to the edge of the ski area boundary, to start our hike in the pristine wilderness of the Skoki backcountry. This rarely visited area is treasured by locals, and made famous as the honeymoon location for Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge in 2011. Hike with us as we travel through pristine forests, along clear mountain creeks and fields of mountain wildflowers to reach turquoise high alpine lakes nestled among the towering glacier-clad peaks of the central Canadian Rockies - all without the crowds. Several options for hiking exist, from the picture-perfect Hidden Lake Route, Ptarmigan Lake via Boulder Pass, or challenge the rarely visited Redoubt Lake. Hikes range from 10km to 14km return.
