Cross country ski-in lodge in Banff National Park | CA-BTF202

Explore the Banff backcountry in the winter at this ski-in lodge in the mountains

Overview

This cross country skiing trip is a must for the avid cross-country skier. The backcountry of Banff National Park is a great place to explore in the winter and there is no better way to do this than from a cozy wilderness lodge.

A gentle 16 km ski away from the town of Banff and a just 10 km from the Sunshine turnoff, the wide, well-sheltered trails lead you along the tree-lined valley of the Sunshine Ridge.  You will ski right to the lodge where a warm room and a delicious meal is waiting for you.  This lodge stay is the perfect relaxing winter get-away in the mountains.

For those seeking a remote getaway from the norm, this lodge is the perfect retreat. Powered by solar power and kept warm by wood heat, this cozy lodge adds a touch of home to the backcountry. Sitting on a gentle bend of Brewster Creek with the massive Sundance Range as a backdrop, this lodge is one you soon won’t forget.
