Located on west central Vancouver Island, just over an hour west of Campbell River, Gold River is a charming small BC town surrounded by mountains. It is rich in Canadian history and Indigenous culture, incredible nature, clean water, and tremendous fishing, and you will find opportunities for adventure in all directions.

There are three beautiful cabins on the property. Each cabin has three large private bedrooms. The 540 sq ft rooms have two queen beds, a wood-burning fireplace, a finely furnished sitting area, and granite-appointed bathroom suites. You will enjoy the picturesque river and mountain views, climate control and air-conditioning, high-speed wireless Internet access, and cable television. Each room includes a semi-private covered deck.

The main log lodge is simply spectacular, crafted from British Columbian Spruce and Pine, nestled on nearly 1,200 feet of riverfront on the Gold River, and easily speaks to those who know the meaning of roughing it in luxury.

Beautifully decorated and featuring artwork from the region, the main lodge is an impressive, quiet, and comfortable setting for your Vancouver Island experience. Relax on the outdoor patio or enjoy a fine gourmet meal seated around the outdoor fireplace after a day filled with adventures.

Optional daily activities may include guided fishing to local and regional lakes or rivers. Or head west to fish and explore the sheltered inside waters and islands of Nootka Sound and beyond the mighty Pacific Ocean. For non-fishers, take a flight to a remote hot spring or a helicopter ride for an unforgettable picnic in the mountains of Strathcona Park or a pristine beach setting on the stunning Pacific coast. There is terrific golfing in the valley along the Gold River, adventure cruises to visit the outlying coastal communities of Yuquot on Nootka Island and Kyuquot on the Pacific Coast, as well as many hiking trails throughout the region to explore on your own.

These amazing lodge stays are fully customizable to suit your preferences. They are suitable for couples, families, and fishing buddies, and the lodge is a perfect location for corporate retreats. You can build your own adventures and live the dream from one of the most spectacular lodges on Vancouver Island.
